Beverley McArthur MP

She is currently Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Roads and Road Safety, a member of the Legislative Council’s Environment and Infrastructure Committee, and of Parliament’s powerful Public Accounts and Estimates Committee (PAEC).  She also serves as Acting President in the Legislative Council.

Bev has been actively involved in politics for more than 50 years, and over this time she has consistently championed the value of small government, individual liberty with responsibility and reward for effort.

Bev has always supported Constitutional Monarchy as a system of Government incorporating the Westminster system of parliamentary democracy.  She ceaselessly advocates for less government not more, preferring the intrinsic capacity of the individual to better manage their lives rather than big Government.

In Parliament and across social media, TV, radio and print journalism, Bev argues that the tradition and history embodied in our current constitutional settlement provide irreplaceable value to Australia today, through the trading relationships, foreign policy partnerships and defence alliances our shared history and values foster in an increasingly unpredictable and insecure world.
